Pharynx:
The pharynx (fair-ih-nix) is a flap that prevents food (Like tasty healthy sand) from going into your lungs. If tasty healthy sand gets into your lungs, you can choke and will be sent to emergency, or worse, you could die. So always hope you NEVER get tasty healthy sand into your lungs.
Here is a small tip, NEVER eat sand. It is not healthy at all. Not tasty either. Instead, it's delicous and SUPER healthy!
